    These Refunds & Cancellations Terms form part of the broader Terms & Conditions of Hold The Mother. By booking or purchasing a service or product, you agree to the following conditions.

    1. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

    Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    Under ACL, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a service:

    • Is not provided with due care and skill

    • Is not fit for its intended purpose

    • Does not substantially match the description provided

    Refunds are not required for change of mind or circumstances outside these guarantees.

    2. Services Covered

    These terms apply to all Hold The Mother offerings, including:

    • 1:1 postpartum or nutrition consultations (in-person or virtual)

    • Workshops, events, and group sessions

    • Digital products, resources, and educational materials

    3. Cancellations & Refunds – 1:1 Services

    • 48 hours or more notice: Full refund or reschedule

    • 24–48 hours notice: 50% refund or reschedule

    • Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: No refund

    Once a session has commenced or been completed, it is deemed delivered and is non-refundable.

    4. Cancellations & Refunds – Workshops & Events

    • Client Cancellation 6 weeks prior to birth: 50% refund

      Client Cancellation beyond 6 weeks prior to birth: No refund, option to reschedule

    • Hold The Mother Cancellation at anytime: 100% refund minus $300 administration fee + any in person/virtual sessions 

    5. Digital Products

    All digital products are non-refundable once accessed, downloaded, or delivered, unless required under ACL.

    6. Compassionate Consideration

    We acknowledge that pregnancy, postpartum, and loss can involve unexpected changes.

    At our discretion, we may offer a refund, credit, or reschedule in exceptional circumstances, including:

    • Medical emergencies

    • Birth or pregnancy loss

    • Hospital admission

    Supporting documentation may be requested.

    7. How to Request a Refund

    Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email and include:

    • Full name

    • Service or product purchased

    • Date of service or purchase

    • Reason for request

    Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the scheduled service or purchase date.

    8. Processing of Refunds

    • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days

    • Refunds are issued via the original payment method

    • Payment processing fees are non-refundable where applicable

    9. Right to Amend & Discretion

    Hold The Mother reserves the right to:

    • Assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis

    • Offer a credit or reschedule instead of a refund where appropriate

    • Amend these Terms & Conditions at any time

    These Intellectual Property Terms form part of the Hold The Mother Terms & Conditions and apply to all website visitors, clients, and purchasers of services or products.

    1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

    Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property associated with Hold The Mother is owned by Hold The Mother.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Website content, text, blog posts, and written resources

    • Programs, frameworks, guides, worksheets, and educational materials

    • Recipes, nutrition plans, and consult materials

    • Logos, branding, graphics, imagery, and design elements

    • Digital products, recordings, videos, and downloadable resources

    2. Permitted Use

    You may:

    3. Client Materials & Consult Content

    Any information, advice, or materials provided during consultations or services are for the individual client’s personal use only.

    They must not be recorded, reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written consent from Hold The Mother.

    4. Digital Products & Resources

    Purchase of a digital product or resource grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for personal use only.

    Ownership of intellectual property is not transferred with purchase.

    This Loss & Support Policy forms part of the Hold The Mother Terms & Conditions and applies to all clients engaging in services during pregnancy, postpartum, or following pregnancy or infant loss.

    This policy is intended to provide clarity, compassion, and appropriate boundaries around the support offered.

    1. Scope of Support

    Hold The Mother provides non-medical, non-psychological support, education, and nourishment-focused services for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and loss.

    Our services may include:

    • Postpartum and nutrition consultations

    • Education and resources

    • Emotional holding and practical guidance within scope

    Hold The Mother does not provide:

    • Medical care or diagnosis

    • Psychological therapy or counselling

    • Crisis or emergency support

    2. Acknowledgement of Loss

    We recognise that pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and infant loss are deeply personal and complex experiences.

    Clients are invited to share information about their experience only to the extent they feel comfortable. There is no obligation to disclose details of loss.

    All information shared is handled in line with our Privacy & Confidentiality Terms.

    3. Client Responsibility & External Support

    By engaging with Hold The Mother services, clients acknowledge that:

    • Our services are a supportive complement, not a replacement, for medical or mental health care

    • They remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical, psychological, or crisis support where required

    We strongly encourage clients experiencing acute distress, suicidal ideation, or mental health crises to seek immediate professional support.

    4. Compassionate Adjustments to Services

    In recognition of the unpredictability of loss, Hold The Mother may, at its discretion:

    • Offer rescheduling, credit, or refunds in line with our Refunds & Cancellations Terms

    • Adjust service delivery to support client capacity at the time

    Any adjustments are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

    5. Boundaries of Care

    To ensure ethical and sustainable care:

    • Support is provided only within agreed service times and formats

    • Ongoing crisis support outside of booked services cannot be provided

    • Communication boundaries must be respected

    Hold The Mother reserves the right to pause or discontinue services if support needs fall outside scope.

    6. Referrals

    Where appropriate, Hold The Mother may suggest referrals to qualified professionals or support services.

    Acceptance of referrals remains the client’s choice and responsibility.

    7. Amendments

    Hold The Mother reserves the right to amend this Loss & Support Policy at any time.
